Blackpink world tour 2022 is the new charm these days but let's pull it a bit down from the Blackpink song list and read out fan judgements
Best: LOVE STICK GIRLS
BLACKPINK’s most interesting song to date—perhaps it’s not the most representative of their sound or their general aura as a group, but I find it fascinating no matter how many times I listen to it. I love that it distances itself from the Usual BLACKPINK Formula. the nostalgic vibe, the chorus that doesn’t just feature a drop but actually gives the Pinks a chance to make their voices heard.
Most disappointing song: ICE CREAM
Most specifically the rap lyrics. Like what were the lyricists.
Ice Cream was also a complete waste of both Lisa and Jisoo’s talent, like it only really needed to be Jennie, Rosé and Selena.
Jisoo getting almost unnoticed, Lisa getting an absolutely cringey rap “MoNa LiSa KiNdA LiSa, NeEdS aN iCe cReAm mAn tO tReAt hEr” explains everything.
This really showed the pink side of BLACKPINK.
Best: CANDY SUGAR POP
A great pop song is only as strong as its chorus, and Candy Sugar Pop boasts a whopper. The melody is big and splashy, underlined by exciting synth and bounding percussion.
It has a relaxed and mature vibe.
Most disappointing song: CAT'S EYE
but I just like their other songs better
I’ve listened to it at least, idk, maybe 15 times or so but kinda forgot how it sounds like-
Just not very memorable/catchy
Best song: SPRING DAYS
Sometimes, the most complex emotions can take root in the simplest of phrases, and in “Spring Day,” that’s “보고 싶다” — “I miss you.” In this power ballad, BTS are stuck in a perpetual winter, lost in grief and longing that manifest in a mix of almost-spoken-word musings and sweeping melody lines. “I wish to end this winter/How much longings must fall like snow/Before that spring day arrives,” RM raps.
From the lyrics, to the vocals and the symbolism behind the mv. It gives the feeling of longing to see someone; it could be a friend, a lover, a relative, any person. It makes you realize how hard it is to want to see a person.
Most disappointing: War of Hormone
I find this song very cringy, especially the lyrics.
Don’t hate it, but the lyrics isn’t exactly good, and again I forgot how most of it sounds like even though I’ve listened to it
Didn’t really like the music video either, it’s really dark and dull, but that’s how most of bts’s old are
Best: FEEL SPECIAL
The mature concept really pulled me in and I loved it. This one and the second one are really close though. This one just pulled me in a little more. Naeyon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Tzuyu, and Momo really looked amazing with this one. I like Dahyun, Mina, Chaeyoung, and Sana. I like cutesy better but still love them in this one.
Everything this era was perfect from the vocals to the rap to the dance to the outfits & much more. The lyrics are beautiful.
It received 90 out of 100 votes for twice
most disapproved song by fans: More & More
Twice I tried a different style but it didn't work out.
It feels like they are just asking for more and more likes(lmao).
Best: GOD'S MENU
The track's strongest element is easily the melodic pre-chorus which shines light on the group's underrated vocals and provides an excellent build towards the hard-hitting drop.It really surpassed the expectations…. Simplicity nailed it
Most disappointing song: THUNDEROUS
It had the recycling of old dance moves.
The music video was very similar to DAECHWITA by BTS Suga.
I just can’t vibe with the song though .
Best song : PHYSO
This song was damn catchy and not to mention it was so unique. They pulled off this concept really well and nailed it. The song itself had amazing lyrics. Last but not the least, they presented amazing visuals like always. This song made red velvet stand out from the crowd.
Most disappointeing: POWER UP
. The chorus is way too much and makes my head hurt. It is an out of the thought song but the thing is as an added no effort for this.
BEST: 0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)
This song has the highest vote for TXT which is deserved as it changes the tragedy of the TXT 'S music forever.
Most disapproved of by fans: CAT & DOG
fans called “Cat & Dog” “addictingly bad” and said, “I hate it but I also love it so much that it is in my top 5 TXT songs list.” Another fan said that there was no reason to dislike the song, however the lyrics are “cringy.”
BEST: WANNABE
ITZY, has taken the K-pop world by storm on the first day of its release. On download charts, the track has beaten BTS to the top spot, which is no mean feat considering how dominant they have been since their last album dropped, and the dance is above the standard.
Most disappointing song: SNEAKERS
It's a popular song but just for a part and the rest of the entire song is so boring with the repeated lyrics.
The only part I like is the pre-chorus, because again, everything else was way too loud
The choreo and mv are also my least favorite itzy choreo and mv. But right now could have been a huge shift for Itzy, really showing where they're heading in the future, and instead we got something that sounds a lot more like their early b-sides. I think JYPE doesn't know what to do with Itzy since Nmixx is their new toy to play with and Twice apparently has a couple more years before they disband.
Best: ILLUSION
The song is as per ASEPA type of song that is shoutes ASEPA.
Most disappointing song: NEXT LEVEL
I don’t hate the song, but it just sounds so random, but then again idk if it was supposed to sound random
Ningning’s part legit sounded like a different song and there’s no real melody to the song.
The main problems I had with the song was that it sounded like they mixed two different songs. It was all about how long you take to understand the song.
Best: GROWL
This song deserves to be there as the instrumentals in the song are very amazing. It was a little bit different from others but it succeeded in being different and standing out.
Worst: WOLF
Most fans don't like the song as it is something not to enter Exo.
BEST : IF YOU DO
KPOP needs more like this." Everything just sounded so amazing and the dancing was incredible. I really liked the transition from Jackson to Yugyeom, but did anyone else think that it looked like Jackson stumbled a bit? Then there is Bam Bam. HOLY CRAP he has grown up".
Most disapproved by fans: FLY
